Price Feeds
Oracle price feeds assume a central role in furnishing blockchain networks with trustworthy and accurate real-world data, thereby enabling a plethora of invaluable use cases. Recognizing the limitations inherent to traditional oracles, such as dependence on trusted intermediaries, elevated latency, and protracted on-chain confirmation times, Triple embarked on an exhaustive and research-driven journey to craft an advanced oracle solution.
Computation of Triple-Value
Each node collects data from multiple sources and calculates the median value from the set of data points gathered from its designated sources. These assignments are randomized and refreshed using Triple Verifiable Random Function.
Subsequently, Triple's computation methodology employs a unified clustering technique based on agreement distance, which guarantees that the median values obtained by various nodes fall within a specified agreement distance threshold. Only after this condition is met does the network proceed to compute the arithmetic mean, denoted as the proposed S-value, which is then signed by all participating nodes.
Price feeds for On-chain data are independent per blockchain.
